The Language Creation and Learning Lab at Johns Hopkins University is seeking deaf adults (age 18+) who are fluent in ASL and no other sign language.
At least 18 or older?
Have access to the Gallaudet campus and community?

The purpose of this study is to understand the development of language comprehension. You will watch short videos and use your mouse to select your responses. Participants will receive $60 to help us discover more about language and cognition!
Appointments are for 1.5 hours, but the average completion time has been 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Online Study
The Language Creation and Learning Lab at Johns Hopkins University is seeking deaf adults (age 18+) exposed to American Sign Language by age 5 for an online study.
Deaf and exposed to ASL by 5 years old?
Have access to Zoom?
participants cannot be local to the DC/Baltimore area

The purpose of this study is to understand the development of language comprehension. You will watch short videos and sign to Jess to provide your responses.
At the end of the meeting, Jess will review the details of the study and answer any questions.
You will receive $50/hour to help us discover more about language and cognition!
